Claude Desktop

Connect Betterness to the desktop app on macOS, Linux, and Windows.

Auto-install (recommended)

npm install -g @betterness/cli
betterness auth login
betterness mcp install claude

This backs up your existing Claude config and merges the Betterness entry. Restart Claude Desktop after running this.

Manual configuration

Open the config file for your platform:

Add the Betterness entry:

Test it

Restart Claude, then ask: "What are my latest biomarker results?"

Verify config

betterness mcp status --json

Shows whether each known client has Betterness configured.

Uninstall

betterness mcp uninstall claude
