Health Overview

The canonical multi-tool flow for "how am I doing?"

Goal

Combine multiple data sources into one comprehensive health snapshot. Correlate poor sleep with elevated resting heart rate, reference biomarker trends alongside activity, etc.

Tool sequence

  1. getProfile() — identify the user
  2. listConnectedDevices() — see what data is actually available
  3. For each connected device category, call the relevant data tool:
    • getVitals — heart rate, HRV, blood pressure, SpO2
    • getSleepData — nightly sleep summaries
    • getActivityData — steps, workouts, calories
    • getBodyComposition — weight, body fat, BMI
  4. searchBiomarkers — recent lab results
  5. getBiologicalAge() — biological age trend

Date range guidance

  • Default to the last 7-14 days for wearables
  • Always pass zoneId with the user's IANA timezone — daily aggregations align with the local day
  • Skip wearable tools if the relevant device isn't connected (saves a round trip)

Synthesis tips

  • Cross-reference: a spike in resting heart rate often correlates with poor sleep the night before
  • Surface out-of-range biomarkers prominently
  • Note data freshness — biomarkers older than 90 days should be flagged for retest

Variant: minimal "vital signs" check

  1. getProfile()
  2. getBiologicalAge()
  3. searchBiomarkers(range: "OUT_OF_RANGE")

Three calls, fast, useful for low-context check-ins.
