What the card at the top of Home reads, and the states it can be in.

Updated Sep 3, 2026

The card under your greeting is Bett-i's read of your recent data. Check it when you open Home and want to know what changed.

To write it, she reads:

  • Your signals from the last 30 days.
  • Your most recent biomarker results.
  • Your biological age.
  • Your latest health document.
  • Your wearable sync.
  • Anything unread she has already flagged for you.

Every card names where it came from, so you can see what the statement is based on. Each one links to the screen where you can act on it.

The card can be in one of five states.

  • Loading. A short skeleton while your signals are read.
  • "Connect your health data". Nothing is connected yet, so there is nothing to read.
  • "Your insights are taking shape". There is data, but none from the last 7 days. First insights arrive after a few days.
  • "Your latest snapshot". The data is fresh but nothing stands out, so you get a short summary instead.
  • Nothing. The card slot is empty. This is what a failed load looks like.

Note

When the card does not appear there is nothing to press and nothing to fix. Betterness retries quietly in the background and the card fills in when it succeeds.

Steps

  1. 1Read the card and check the source line under it.
  2. 2Select the card to open the screen it points at.
  3. 3Select the X to dismiss a card that is not useful.

Caution

Bett-i is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. Take anything on this card to a healthcare professional before acting on it.

Frequently asked questions

I connected a source and the card still says to connect one.

The source has to sync before it counts. Once the first sync lands, the card changes on its own.

Can I get a dismissed card back?

No. Dismissing removes that card. New cards are written as new data arrives.

How to pick up your conversation from Home, and what the two suggestion chips do.

Updated Sep 3, 2026

"Continue with Bett-i" is the door back into your conversation. Under the title you see the opening of the last thing she said. If you have not started yet, it invites you to.

Steps

  1. 1Select "Continue with Bett-i" to open the full conversation.
  2. 2Read back or keep typing. Nothing was lost.
  3. 3Use "Back to Today" to return to the Home landing.

Under it sit two suggestion chips: "What changed this week?" and "What should I focus on today?". Selecting one writes the question into the message box.

Tip

A chip never sends on its own. Edit the wording first if you want to ask about something more specific, then press send.

Frequently asked questions

Are the suggestions personalized to me?

No. They are the same two questions every day. The answers are personal, because Bett-i reads your data to write them.

Log a meal from Home

Photograph a meal or describe it, check Bett-i's estimate, then save it.

Updated Sep 3, 2026

The "Log a meal" button on Home is the fastest way to record what you ate. You do not need to look anything up or count anything yourself.

Steps

  1. 1Select "Log a meal" on Home.
  2. 2Take a photo, choose an existing one, or describe the meal in words.
  3. 3Agree to the photo analysis the first time, so the image can be read.
  4. 4Add anything the photo would miss, like a drink on the side.
  5. 5Read the estimate, correct anything that is off, and save it.

Tip

Analysis starts by itself the moment a photo is attached. If the food has a nutrition label, photograph the label instead. It is far more accurate than the plate.

Note

The estimate is an estimate. It is shown to you for review, and nothing is saved until you confirm it.

Frequently asked questions

What if I have no photo?

Describe the meal in words instead. The photo is optional.

Where do saved meals go?

Into Health, under Nutrition, where they add up into your day.

Ask Bett-i from any page

The "Ask Bett-i" button opens a conversation that already knows which screen you are on.

Updated Sep 3, 2026

You do not have to go back to Home to ask something. Most screens carry an "Ask Bett-i" button in the header. Several sections have their own entry next to the thing you are reading.

Selecting it opens Bett-i in a panel over the page. The difference from Home is context. She already has the screen you are on, on top of everything she knows about you.

A biomarker page opens her on that marker. Focus opens her on today's plan. Health opens her on the view in front of you.

Steps

  1. 1Open the screen you have a question about.
  2. 2Select "Ask Bett-i" in the header, or the entry next to the section you are reading.
  3. 3Ask in your own words. You can dictate with the mic instead of typing.
  4. 4Close the panel to go back to the page.

Note

"Ask Bett-i" is not offered inside a Team. A Team that runs its own assistant has its own ask band instead, and that conversation belongs to the Team.

Caution

Bett-i is not a medical device and does not give medical advice.
